Advent 2 - Peace
10:30 AM

Please join us in worship and fellowship this

Sunday, December 8 in the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary.

This service for the Second Sunday of Advent will be led by our

Pastor, The Rev. Dr. Lisa Ruth Mays.

We will worship God in song and prayer!

Our message from Pastor Lisa, "Preparing for Peace", will use

scripture readings from Isaiah 11:1-10, Romans 1:4-13, and Matthew 3:1-12.

Our Chancel choir and music director, Billy Meredith will provide music for this service.

All are welcome to worship and Christian fellowship!

Coffee Hour Fellowship will follow worship.

Prayer requests may be sent to the office or any Elder for intercessory prayer. Please email office[at]

Please remember our local food bank in your prayers and as you grocery shop this month.

"Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon." Isaiah 58:10 NLT
