Third Sunday of Easter

We invite everyone to worship on Sunday, May 5 at 10:30 am in the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary.

Please join us in worship and fellowship led by our Interim Pastor, Rev. Dr. Lisa Ruth Mays and liturgist Tom Philion.

John 21:1-19 and Acts 9:1-20 will be the scriptures this week as we begin

the sermon series on "The Great Ends of the Church"

Music will be offered by the Chancel Choir, organ and piano.

A Cinco deMayo, Dish to Pass dinner will follow worship in Fellowship Hall.

Christian Education resumes on May 5 at 9:45 am in the Conference Room.

First Presbyterian Church is commitmented to our local Food Bank! Contributions are accepted here at First Presbyterian Church in the bins in the Narthex and across from the church office. Help us fill the shelves of the food bank!


Canned fruits, vegetables, soup, meat products, meals (Chili, Pork & Beans, Spaghettios), peanut butter, crackers, jelly, dry pasta – all kinds – and sauces, cereal, rice, dry or canned beans, juice.

Any kind of mixes – including baking mix, pasta mix, rice mix, potato mix, pudding, and Jell-O, condiments, flour, sugar, and seasonings.

Food Bank donations may be left in the box across from the office door or in the narthex. 

Cash donations are always welcome. Please make checks out to First Presbyterian Church and drop in the offering plate (clearly marked food bank) or leave in the church office.
